Tbh mate Fernandes is normally poor for Portugal. He only performs against minnows and moderate at best teams in qualifying. Come the tournaments he's pretty average and that's being nice.

Fair play on them sharing free-kicks though. Fernandes did hit the bar with a beauty against Villa.

Spain is sterile without Olmo. Nico would add dynamism too. They're good at controlling games, but so boring in final third unless Lamine.
Spain have never replaced the cutting edge that Villa and Torres (pre-decline) gave them,. Nico, Olmo and Yamal started showing signs they can do it and helped them win the Euros, so hopefully now they can maintain that. I agree that they look more predictable usually but I think it goes for most teams that lose fast, technical wingers. Also, Rodri is a miss in midfield despite the guys starting there still being very good. People overlook just how important a wonderful midfield controller of his prowess can affect the final third too.
