His main arsenal is attacking, its just he hasn't been given time to build chemistry with the team and cannot read what his teammates want from him, look at how Digne has improved, he used to be useless in attack but today he knew exactly what to do when he got the ball. I'm not even little worried about Semedo, its just EV too racist to give him time.

My point was meaningless games and so on or easy opponents. Sergi sucked vs better opponents. That's his weakness.

I want to see Semedo starting all games vs Real, Atletico etc. Big games. Not Roberto.

What is even more amazing is Digne doing it while playing 1000 minutes and 14 games less than Semedo.

I think that's quite obvious. He's played many games, no doubt about that, but after he's had a decent game this season, the next one he was benched for Roberto and wasn't even subbed in for several minutes. You can't build a solid chemistry with the team when you are not playing regularly.

He needs a regular, consistent run of games to settle. Valverde picks him for two games and then benches him for 4.

Yeah, anything that isn't good is on coach not the players
Semedo is very limited offensively , he plays with his head down a lot of time which gives him limited vision and ability to make decisions, hence he will over dribble or make bad crosses/passes.
That is on him as a player, and he should improve it, he has been back up right back for a reason. we can't afford to have a starting fullback who has very limited offensive impact, he has the talent but he need to learn to use it.
