Neymar Jr. - v5

Do PSG still want Neymar? yeah but paying the 222 Million euro clause is insanity on one single player alone despite Neymar's stature.

Qatar is the richest country in the world. 222m for Neymar is nothing! They don't have issues paying that much money or double that for top players but the problem always been they can't attract top players. Now with Neymar Sr. big appetite for wealth, they might finally buy that top player. Recruiting Alves who has a personal vendetta against the board was a smart move.

Can't understand why so much anxiety over this. PSG will not pay out 220M in 1 installment, that is not going to happened. Nasser maybe sees Neymar in his dreams but reality dictates the rules. Most likely they found a troll in the face of Dani Alves and want to unsettle things at Barca to revenge/scare away Verratti move. We went after their player and unsettled him and they are doing the same to us. The whole story means nothing to me except for the fact that I'm slowly losing my respect for Dani Alves. We get it: you are mad at Barca management just like many of us here, but it seems like Dani since his move to P$G forgot that Barca fans cheered and applauded him for years and Barca club gave him all the silverware he got.

It's not because you are rich that you will trow your money out of a window like it's nothing. We are talking about 200M not 200k. Alot of rich people are in fact very cautious with their money because they know how to handle it. Spending their money like this will have a negative effect on their future purchases because psg is the club that will pay alot anyway.

why do you think PSG can't pay 222m in one installment? FFP? things changed since PSG got sanctioned for FFP, it never stopped clubs like City to spend 200m+. They got smarter in reporting revenue, income & cost.

PSG offered a private jet and stake at 5 stars hotel chain for Neymar and you think 222m will have a negative effect? How?

because it's stupidest thing to do to your cash flow. do you think PSG sits on cash bags and they stuff their pillow with cash? They are rich and as any rich person they know the value of the cash. Why on earth they will pull so much money from their current investments and pay that insane amount of money for one player. They did not win that money on lottery ticket, they know how to make money.

You need an agreement with a club before you can buy a player, if others know that they don't hesitate to overpay if they really want someone then they will make negotiations more difficult to get as much as possible.

It's also business and investment. Not just buying the best iPhone in the local store.

and do you think that's just free gift? Do you really think they are that stupid? Yea..they will offer him stake in hotel chain that they own in lieu of cash payments. Actually that's very smart thing to do. Private jet that they already depreciated instead of cash?? ... why not. They just bedazzle Neymar sr. knowing his greed.

It's just some noise to put pressure on Barca. Nothing serious.

it's the Nasser's answer for what Barca did with Verratti. Paris won't put 222 M€ on a single player. PSG is not City. Compare the amount invested.

I'm sad to see my two clubs fighting each other like that.

Because it is a buyout, they have to pay it in one installment

And PSG still can't pay 220M, they are still behind clubs like Barca,RM,Manu in revenue. So no,they can't pay it.

You seriously believe that

Qatar is the richest per capita, not the richest in the world, huge difference, they are the 56th in GDP worldwide. And their economy is under crisis with the ban from other countries, they are providing their population goods with loss to make people feel they aren't affected. This isn't the time for them to get fully retard

he responded to rumors saying he's happy in Barcelona.

well, PSG got their 15 minutes of fame. They made newspaper stories to get back on us for Verratti saga. It probably caused some annoyance to the club, but nothing more than that. I personally never believed to that story..time to move on.

You both really don't understand how wealthy countries like Qatar and the UAE and I'm not talking about GDP per capita. For example, their sovereign wealth fund (SWF) manages above trillion in funds. One sovereign wealth fund like Abu Dhabi Investment Authority manages above 800 billion in a fund, they have several state owned funds so you can guess the figures. That's without counting oil & gas revenue.
mssarm it's not throwing money, they are investing in a product/player that will generate big revenue for the club from marketing and sales.
