Rafael is kind of an idiot though. Tries to act like he has inside sources when all he does is quote others hours later and try to make it seem like it was his own exclusive. His twitter career kicked off due to a Marco Reus signing he said was done.

I call that a fraud.

He seem more concerned about Pep too than the club itself.

You tell Rafael that his 'exclusive' was reported hours earlier by another outlet and he blocks you within 10 seconds. Guess he's not too happy about people finding out he's a fraud.

Sigh... It is a football player, not an idol or a role model..

At the end of the day, it is all about the interest of the club. If selling him makes us a stronger and better team, sell him or let PSG or whoever trigger the clause and be happy with it. If selling him weakens the club and makes us less competitive (assumptions that we will buy this and that world class player down the road to replace him don't cut it, too much uncertainties and unknowns out there, factors outside of our control), I don't see why we should be happy about it.

If this was rafinha, it would not be like this. Did anyone read the articles? All saying the same. You remember the Ronaldo saga? Neymar is very popular and that's why everyone is jumping on this, because people want to read it. All based on the same story, no other confirmations. But people on here are so convinced that PSG will pay 220 M for 1 player while they still say it's not a loss because then Barcelona can get 2 World class players (which is true). But psg is a stupid club then and spend everything on 1 player? And why would they buy neymar en let verratti leave if their goal is to dominate Europe? Doesn't make sense. It's not the first time those neymar stories (psg, remember man u?). And if psg wants neymar then they have to negotiate with Barcelona, they will decide the fee it's not upto neymar. But at the end the story will seem bullshit. And neymar will still be one of the most popular football players in the world unlike some people think. Or do people buy his stuff to make voodoo dolls out of it? You can think what you want about him but a club spending that much money on only 1 player doesn't make sense.

PSG a year ago tried their hardest to recruit Neymar from us and it was even rumored he would get some insane sign on bonus+ His increased mega wages. They didn't want Neymar to sign the new contract because at that time his Release clause was 150 Million. But he turned them down.

Do PSG still want Neymar? yeah but paying the 222 Million euro clause is insanity on one single player alone despite Neymar's stature.

Only a fool would believe Shirt sales would make a dent in trying to repay that fee.

Honestly imagining a scenario where Neymar going to PSG, I just have a feeling if he did go I don't think he will stick around as long as PSG will hope. I think the Aura of Paris and despite the amount of money he will be make it would eventually wear off and he would want to try something new.

Heck he mentioned he wanted to go back to Brazil to play for Flamengo one day.
