we're not resigning this traitor so get over it already. he made his bed and the club are ensuring he lays in it.

let him create his on legacy as psg or man utd. just not here

We need neymar now more than over. I can't take another season with coutinho losing the ball everytime and dembele running around like a headless chicken. We need back neymar, we need world class players not two players who both have been massive flops since coming here. Messi has 3 years left in his prime.

messi's prime and we don't need a player whose season ends in february and left the club in the manner in which he did

wish him the best at psg. hope he can take coutinho with him this season

Mestre literally said earlier this year that he is against the neymar signing

Maybe. Or maybe he was just trying to get this across publicly, because he knew that cca 50% of Barca's fanbase is still angry at NeyNey and trying to get him back would make him look bad in the eyes of half of the fans.

They are politicians and are trying to blind people. I still think that it's incredibly strange that Barto came out with this statement after Mestre and Segura resigned, which for me points to one direction; they were the ones pushing for Neymar.

Do you honestly think that someone like Mestre would want neymar back to barca even tho he himself publicly said that he was against big signings. Its mode likely someone like Barto who wants Griezmann would go after someone like neymar who is a big name signing. And let's be real, If Neynar comes back and score a hattrick alot of fans would love him far more than they would ever love coutinho or dembele. Also, neymar is far more exciting than those two

Sport are not done with Neymar it seems. A part of tomorrow's Sport front cover is about Neymar sending a mayday to the club and asking the board to accelerate the negotiations for his transfer.

It is hard to take anything that Bartomeu says in public seriously. I don't buy for one second that he considers Dembélé the better player or that Neymar is not for sale if the right offer is made.

Nasser on the other hand never made the comments that he recently made (public criticism of Neymar indirectly) nor ever talked about that anyone who does not want to play for PSG can leave. Neymar (by all accounts) wants out. Not that hard to connect the dots. Dembélé leaving is a genuine and very realistic possibility as well regardless of those public comments. If Bartomeu had publicly said that Dembélé is for sale or that the club can let him leave, his value would drop.

I don't think (at all) that we have seen the last of this transfer saga and I would not be the least surprised if the board bought Neymar and sold Dembélé this month or in August.

Nasser also hasn't come out with his usual 1000% staying quotes this time

Dembele to PSG would also fit with the Mbappe wanting more influence which i doubt is just about on the pitch influence

i'm at a point where i just don't give a shit anymore, we aren't going anywhere with Valverde and Barto in charge anyways. i'm a Barca fan before a Messi fan but i gotta admit its a sad ending to his career with us. nothing this board do is surprising in its stupidity

Dembélé would probably love a move to PSG (he is from Paris) and to play in more familiar surroundings alongside his buddy Mbappé and close to all his friends, family etc. Reunite with Tuchel and play in a much easier league where he would be guaranteed domestic trophies and most likely much more protagonism.

I am not far from your take at the situation expect for me preferring that Bartomeu and the rest of the vandals don't mess the immediate or long-term (potentially) future of the club up too much More than they have done already that is. Signing both Neymar and Griezmann could potentially (most likely) do just that.

I think the only thing left for this board to wreck is the finances  seems written in the stars that Neymar and papa Ney would have a huge hand in that

Well, Sport is NeyNey entourage's main mouthpiece, so they are just throwing shit around, since Barto's latest interview.

I'm not worried about any of this. But if it starts to come form other sources than the Sport clowns and Fat Spanish OJO shouting Midget then, I would be worried.

Much more difficult to do that given the strict internal rules that regulate the transfer net spend each season and wages relative to the turnover. Our balance sheets do not give us much reason for concern. Less so the many lucrative sponsorship deals signed where we have few rivals if any.

The problem is that the best guarantee of economic success is being successful on the pitch. When that happens everything else will fall in line.

Anyway we will all be more clever by 2021. I just hope that a new board will not waste their time trying to stir some nonsense up about the club being close to declaring "bankruptcy" (lol) much like Rosell's moronic crusade against Laporta's board and one of his trump cards during the 2010 election. That was truly pathetic stuff. Ironically the same Rosell, 3.5 years later had to resign due to obvious reasons (not pretty), later to spend almost 2 years in jail. Was eventually cleared of money laundering this year but regardless.

Romero has zero credibility and is one of the least respected local journalists covering the club.

The problem is that pretty much every local source (respected too) openly talked about our interest in signing Neymar for weeks and that Neymar wants to return and that PSG would be willing to sell him for the right price. In other words not a new Thiago Silva, Verratti etc. transfer saga.

With de Ligt looking certain to sign with Juve (another confirmation tonight), the probability of Neymar arriving just grew significantly IMO.

I wonder how NeyNey feels that his team won without his help

Imagine the fact Ney probably would have hampered the playing style of this Brasil:lol: big fan of Ney but he does over dribble.

I was looking back at the gui7herme compa videos of his time 2013-2017. He held on to the ball way to long i. Most instances

I would say the only the season I had a problem with him dribbling was 2016/2017. The others he knew when to dribble and when not to
