This is PSG we are talking about and they will make it as difficult as possible for pride reasons.

The only thing they're doing is wasting their own time and a potential good deal. Providing we have offered 100m + Coutinho and Rakitic.

They ain't getting that good of a deal from Real Madrid. They simply cannot afford the full 200m euros. Nobody wants to buy James or Bale.... and I doubt they have even 100m euros to spend after they've just spent like 300m euros already this summer. And offering Bale who is past his prime and a James who isn't played well in like 4 years isn't going to cut it. Besides, Real Madrid need midfielders way more.

Don't get me wrong, we actually don't even need Neymar. Our squad is better than last season.... but moving Coutinho and Rakitic on would make it better.

I don't believe that at all.

Why would they travel all the way over there just to get no agreement? Like they must have spoken over the phone first to see what kind deal would be best for the 2 clubs. Doesn't make sense to go there and then waste most part of the a day and a trip just to negotiate at another time.

What about the alternative version being reported that Neymars people are in Barca to day for negotiations and Suarez met Neymar at the airpor.

I won’t believe a thing until he’s being unveiled in a Barca shirt .,

Right, thank you for proving my point. Great form from neymar, better overall team and they still couldn't win.

It's almost as if that wasn't the problem. So what will Neymar add to this team when Valverde trots out Busquets in a UCL semi and reverts back to Bob at RB? That should be fun to watch again.

Also, Neymar forced his way out of Barcelona, what's to say he won't do the same in 2 years?

He is now more injury prone and has only become more of a diva, even in Brazil his number of critics has increased.

I would rather see them go after Mbappe.

You know players can play well and still not win things? They are not mutually exclusive.

Ronaldo won 5 CLs in 17 seasons... Does that mean he is shit in CL because he didn't win the other 12 years?

Neymar increases our chances of winning, doesn't guarantee it.

RMC | Paris Neymar estimated at 250 million, Barca offer players to reduce cost - Tuchel agreed to Coutinho and the Brazilian does not mind, the name Rakitic enticed Paris but Barca offered 70 million cash and Paris wants more, Thursday in Liverpool Bartomeu will press more

Where would you rate him when fully fit? And who's before him in the list?

He is an awesome player.
But just like when someone said a few days ago that he is better than Salah, Firmimo and Mane.
Who cares??

He is on paper a better allround footballer than Firmino, Salah and Mane.
But for Liverpool's tactics, those 3 are exactly what they need.
I would dare to say that those 3 are better for them even than Messi.
Because Messi would bring more goals, but they wouldn't be able to press or run like crazy with Messi, so their whole system goes to hell.

In that sense, imo it is somewhat childish to jump on these: he is the 2nd best player in the world.
For me, in this moment, I would rather try with Messi and Griezz.
We have already tried with Messi and Neymar and I personally didn't like it.

Again, as if people forgot in 24 hours:
Remember Neymar's matches at Barca:
= when he plays, there is no teamplay. You can forget a match like against Napoli, that won't happen.
When Neymar gets the ball, the action will end in one of these way:
1. dribble past 5 players and losing the ball
2. dribbling past 5 players, shooting and missing a target
3. dribbling past 3 players, being fouled by the 4th and then lying on the ground, holding his ankle for 3 minutes and arguing with refs and opponents.
40 seconds later he will get the ball again and do the same shit: dribble past 3, slow down, provoke a foul and lay on the ground holding his ankle.
4. from time to time he will pas the ball back, but in like 30% of cases
5. here and there he will score

Further, remember my stats from those days: with MSN on a field, in 2016/17 we wouldn't string more than 2 wins in a row for the whole season.
We were playing like a crap and like a solo circus show all the time.
Further, in his last 2 years here, when he was injured, we had a better record (something like 10-1-1 score) than when he plays (where we had only 50-60% wins in his last season).

Add to that his ballhogging, his famous dribbling backwards, his famous trick when he stops, stands on one leg and making a dancing move with the other leg until an opponent hits him.
Then he lies down on a ground and holds his ankle for additional 3 minutes.
Basically, in one season, you will get a total of 800 minutes of him lying on the ground, and he will be guilty for provoking in probably 90% of matches.

I don't think that he is such a good fit for us at all.
Anyway, my favorite game of his.
Re-watch it since we will be watching tons of this shit from the next Friday onwards, apparently:
** Try to pay attention how many times the action is DEAD when he gets the ball. He will either lose it or be fouled (because he is asking for it).
Check the teamflow and fluidity when Neymar is on a field. That thing doesn't exist. You only get a solo circus show.
Frenkie will be killed by Neymar, because Neymar will run the show, while Frenkie should run the show and our actions.
Now pay attention how often he actually manages to pass the ball back to a teammate:

I get what you're saying, but compare him to our alternatives of Coutinho and Dembele as our wingers. I don't think Griezmann will be our out and out winger all season, he'll probably rotate positions.

Btw that what you said about the 16/17 season with Neymar.... we got 90 points and 28 wins that season but came 2nd, last season we got 87 points and 26 wins and won La Liga.............

They had a meeting in a private room for a decent amount of hours ?

I think Leonardo and Abidal had sex with eachother.

Neymar transfer was smoke screen for them to see eachother.

How the fuck do they value him at 250m euros? If anything, his valuation has dropped since 2017. He wants out and he's been injured.

We literally should just say no and let Madrid have him. We have a good enough squad as it is.

If he ball hogs it will be a disaster. He must play one touch and make good runs. Messi does the ball hogging and creating already.
