We had a great chance last season. I am not saying Valverde is a great coach, I don't like him as well, but it wasn't Valverde who missed all those clear scoring chances vs Liverpool away. It wasn't him who missed the easiest 4th goal at home vs Liverpool. Lucho wasn't a great coach either and he won the treble.

Zidane isn't great tactically (and it's starting to show) ... yet he won 3 in a row.

He is the one who allowed players who are scared to have a ball like Rakitic to play, he is the one who has 0 charisma, while Klopp's team comes out after half time like warriors, our team comes out after half time locker room like scared mouses.

Up until last season we didn't have great options to play in Rakitic's place.

Our players are not high intensity type of players. You can't make them do what they can't physically do. Busquets won't start running like Kante because of a coach with charisma.

Zidane might not be tactically great, but he know he had a plan(keep crossing and hope someone scored) and he mastered it. I know it sounds stupid, but its the truth. He made it a unit and it worked, team created chances, Ronaldo finished them. Now that Ronaldo is gone, they lack the finisher and hence they struggle. He utilized the squad that he had in best way possible.

Also, you can't take away from Zidane that he is a very good man manager, while Valverde goes missing when we're under pressure.

Replace Zidane with Valverde and I don't think they would've won 3 CLs in a row.

Sevilla? 5 Years ago? Should we buy Quaresma because of what he was at Sporting? This is not Fifa 13, the coach is there watching these players every day, he is supposed to adjust the style to their current qualities or don't play them at all.

Yes they are, every training video all we do is play rondo, the 1 touch quick buildup is what we are supposed to be good at, but with a 3-0 lead we do nothing, drop back and defend, something we know nothing about.

Point is, he captained Sevilla and had great confidence there. You implied he was a timid noone before he came here.

Zidane's Madrid was a team already built. Built from Mourinho and Carlo. Already CL champions once. The only big change he did, which was obvious as fuk, from Benitez, was put Casemiro in as a DM where as Rafa was playing without a DM. His only truly good season was his 2nd one .. and he had a bench that was deep as fuk then. He also got a lot of breaks in CL that don't need to be cited. Probably out of the 3 they won 1 convincingly.

A big skill from Zidane was it to find the right words at the right time. He didnt speak a lot during the half breaks of a CL match, gave them some small instructions and let them play . Pep is speaking like a water fall in a break of a big CL match which could confuse some players. Sometimes less is more.

Barca bought Quaresma from Sporting

Overall, rakitic was great transfer for barca, considering his price and how did he perform here over the time.

If you count the missed chances by both teams, the score would have been Liverpool 12 Barcelona 5

you should worry about not embarrassing yourself in the group stages for a change after 3 straight R of 16 bed-wettings.
