Numerous posters said that Lewa, KdB and Muller had exceptional seasons and all arguably a better one than Messi did. No one implied those players didn't have great seasons.

Those players all had better seasons than Neymar because the rest of the Ligue 1 season was cancelled, thus Neymar did not have as many games to pile up the stats.

Based on ability he is better than all three and is the best in the world. It is not that complicated.

Not even near those two. What has he achieved until now in PSG? He won League 1? Wow! Last time he scored more than 30 goals was 2015-16 and Messi is doing that for 12 years now!

Unbelievable stuff, you people are changing opinions more than pants. Last summer 90% of you here were calling Neymar a Neyclown and now he is the best. Unbelievable!

He is not the main goalscorer in their team as they have Icardi who is a pure 9 and Mbappe. He is the main playmaker with absurd dribbling and through-ball ability who makes everything tick in attack. As Tackle mentioned he also didn't have time to inflate the stats because Ligue 1 was cancelled.

On ability solely he is better then Muller, Lewa, maybe on par with the current KdB. It's not that controversial mate. If he wins the CL while having a good game vs Bayern, he is imo the best in the world in the exact moment.

The problem with him was never his ability but decision to go to PSG, and the only thing that can salvage his relevance is a CL win. He didn't have a chance to do it in the last two seasons as he was injured.
