Messi doesn't strike me as a very bright man, so I won't be surprised if he still thinks Neymar is as good as he was before.

With the amigos, it feels like a combination of not realizing their declines and not appreciating the tactical/physical side of the game enough. I bet MSN probably thinks they would still win CLs together with our current team.

And arrogance. If they had taken AM more seriously in 15/16, we win back to back trebles most likely.

Only scenario can see PSG letting Neymar go to Barca is if somehow Mbappe signs on for a few more years with a 'French' project at the club.

Dembele, Griezmann, Pogba etc signing on for the Frenchy project.

They are not in a position of power now as his contract is running out next year. They either let him go if he wants out or they lose him for free next summer.

Also i wouldnt swap him for Griezmann and i?d rather we go for Haaland than Neymar. If we?re gonna splash some cash we should go all in on him instead.

Messi asking Barca to sign Neymar is all rumours. Neymar will sign a new, improved contract as PSG will be desperate to tie him down with Mbappe most likely leaving. If we splash the cash, buy fucking Mbappe ffs

Had we still had Barto as president I could imagine us signing an aging Neymar whilst ignoring other positions whilst Perez bags Mbappe.

Can't win shit without Papa Messi.

I think they both need each other.

Thats the problem, Messi still thinks he can dribble like in 2015, Neymar still thinks he can plays like in 2015 and Suarez still thinks he is the best striker in the world like in 2015

True, we were still the best and should have won a lot more with this trio.

You are so right about those delusions. All three has big delusions about them.

Considering his talent, he could have had a career on par with Cristiano imo.

He decided to waste away his prime in France instead, all the injuries didnt help either.

Do you think he'd have a better career before this social media era? Say if he was born 10 years earlier?

What he's lacked is obviously his head and discipline. Don't know if his rapid rise through social media destroyed that even further.

If we sign him, PSG will take all of that money and go straight for Haaland and we would have enabled all of that.

Is he really that big on IG? Pogba seems to be the one who is IG star. Neymar seems to like too many other things, like poker and Esports. He has too many interests.

I wouldn't blame it on social media.

Not about Instagram but rather how he rose to fame through Youtube compilations etc. He was already a huge worldwide star and brand as a teenager, and it's only increased from there.
