Barçapocalypse NOW!
Sometimes he looks disinterested but he is energetic. Also, at times slows down the play and yet has an eye for thorough passes.
In short; Neymar is a controversy.

If we are buying him, I wish we could set up some kind of a deal with Depor or other Primera team to send him on loan first.

Any special reason why you thought of Depor or was it just a random team? How about Málaga or Valencia?

This is going to be so funny when Rosell goes way out of his way and embarass the shit out of himself just to go through with his fetish.

Why do you guys insist on him going to small club first?

Santos is his platform for proving his worth, this is his "small club." No other small club in the world can afford him to begin with, and do you really believe one of the big ones is going to pay 40+ million, to loan him out? If you pay that much for player nowadays, it's because he's already proven his worth to you. Nobody buys a Ferrari unsure if it really drives fast- so no need for a "test run." Take it out on the street and see for yourself.

Nevertheless, the fact of the matter is he will only "make it in Europe," when he establishes himself in a top flight club. Really, "Europe," in world football, has almost become a euphemism for big club. Because if he goes to a Depor, or a Valencia, and plays well, the same will still be said about him by his critics. It is only when he makes it for Barca, or wherever he goes, that he can rest back on Football's comfy pillow.

I think you guys want Neymar to walk the same path as say, Ronaldinho. Your intentions are good. But the fact is football has much changed since then. Players are more expensive now, and with the likes of City and other clubs who are willing to splash insane amounts on anyone, nobody has the time to wait for a talent to brew like before. It's a different scenario now. Players with incredible talent and potential like Neymar, are expected much sooner to charge into the fray. Basically, if his road is leading to Barcelona, it won't have any resting stops on the way.

Try to convince Puyol the Wall that. I don't understand why everyone bashes the Brazilian league or even South American leagues (evidently Brazil is one of the best). Many people have proven themselves and have moved to make successful careers. Ronaldinho's path to world domination was different yes, but Neymar can still be great

Jaden, is just that for some reason people think defences in Europe are better then South American ones, when anyone who has watched European football for an extended period of time knows just how shit they are. there is no other word to describe the defences in Europe but "shit", people need to stop overrating European football, its nauseating.

While europe is facing a serious shortage of world class defenders there is absolutely no doubt that the defenders are better than in South America. There is absolutely no way you can objectively say that defence in the brazilian league is as organised, well disciplined and talented as in la liga, the epl, serie a, the bundesliga or even ligue 1.

It doesn't matter. Neymar has proven, even more than Alexis has at Udinese, that he can be successful in Europe at Barca

A player who was successful in Europe has proven less than a player who never played in Europe that he can be successful in Europe?

lolwat?

I have most likely watched a lot more South American football than you have, and am the biggest defender of SA leagues on this forum...but you are full of shit, sorry. Defensive schemes are typically a lot more simple in South America as they are in the major European leagues, and a lot more homogeneous because coaches are almost always locals (or Argentines), as are most of the players.
