Yes, but they could afford that and it made sense. All the Madrid 120 mill rumours would apply to Bayern as well. Bayern are very prudent when it comes to commmerce

If this transfer is going to happen this year, I imagine we'll know by late May/early June... Probably before the Confederations Cup. If not, then he's definitely coming in 2014 barring any unforeseen deal made with Madrid or something.
