I don't care what you all think. I will still support him;) You might think I'm crazy but this dude has everything to go the distance. He is a person who can constantly do tricks and skill moves.

Neymar (Santos): "ESP toughest opponent at Games? Thiago's their best player... I know he's injured, I wish him well, hope he recovers soon"

this dude is trying really hard to get on my good side.

Neymar hope's his future teammate Messi gets the 4th Balon D'or

http://www.sambafoot.com/en/news/33742_neymar_backing_messi_to_win_fourth_successive_ballon_d_or_award.html

Santos forward Neymar believes that Barcelona ace Lionel Messi will be named as the world's best footballer for the fourth consecutive year.

The Argentina international inspired the Blaugrana to four trophies in the 2011-12 season, scoring a total of 73 goals in the process.

At the age of 20, Neymar has often earned comparisons with Messi, with Brazilian legend Pelé recently stating that his compatriot is a more ''complete'' player than the Barça attacker.

Neymar, though, insists that Messi is the best footballer on the planet, and is convinced that the 25-year-old will beat him to the 2012 Ballon d'Or award.

''Me? No, the Ballon d'Or is for Messi, who is the best in the world, there is no one like him,'' the Peixe star told Mundo Deportivo.

''He will win it, he is the greatest. He comes up with new things after every match. Yes, yes, another Ballon d'Or for Messi. That is what there is. We all know it.''

When Neymar was younger I really liked him,he looked the real deal he still is but I am not sure whether he will reach the same heights as I thought earlier, his skill was amazing but as time has passed and the more the media praise the more his ego has increased, you can't see it but if you ponder over comments you'll identify that this kid for his age has a massive ego,
after a dive this bad he still thought that no one will see it and even if they do they'll forget it because he is great,it would have been great to see him come out an apologize or at least acknowledge that it was a dive but did he,I feel all these stuff that he keeps saying Messi is better than him looks to me like an open challenge that he would become better than Messi,I don't take it like he says these kinda stuff to sign for us,players dive but like Robbie mentioned Neymar dives in friendlies too.

But him being pathetic (according to me,don't start moaning that I am a hypocrite its just my opinion ) is not the reason I hope we don't sign him,I'm asking the question WHY DO WE NEED HIM?to sell shirts across the world or to make sure RM don't get him or it could be because Rosell wants to make a statement by signing Neymar as for the footballing perspective I think we would be better off not signing him, look at the last few big money signings like Torres and Zlatman for us they weren't successful both Torres and Zlatman weren't bigger risks than Neymar cause they had experience playing in Europe considering how good they were for Liverpool and Inter respectively but Neymar has being doing great stuff for Santos against pathetic defenses while when put against good teams who understand the concept of defending he looks worse than Deloufeu(not consistent) like the game against Corinthians where he was awful,in Europe the defenses are more persistent and will park the bus against us which believe me where Neymar would struggle,Neymar's strength is when there is space or on 1 on 1's but in Europe it will be different there will be less space for him to do his fancy tricks and stuff,I for one am not ruling him out from succeeding but the risk that we are gonna take by signing him for 60 mil is huge...the crisis that is our finances if it were my decision I would step away from Neymar and settle for the squad we have now and give our youngsters more chances but if we really need a striker or a winger why not go for ADRIAN,much cheaper with a good understanding of La liga and has played in the CL as well.

Neymar seems to guard himself from the bad influence of fame. He tries to become humble and seems to be pulling it off, that is commendable and that's why I think he could be taught not to dive.

I'm soooooooo on the fence with Neymar, with the deal between Barcelona and Santos almost done (I've heard either this year or the next) I see Neymar as THE BIGGEST GAMBLE we will ever make.On the one side he is unproven and at times looks a little too selfish but on the other he's young and as a younger player he can still change his play style to an extent to be able to be a Barca player because let's face it,at the moment only Messi is capable of taking on a whole team and making something out of nothing.Neymar has time to change his overall play style because he has the things you need to be able to become a Barcelona player in my opinion.I feel as if Barcelona can benefit A LOT but can lose the 60 million they will pay for him.He will become a good player but his play style is not for us momentarily but can still change as he is still young.
Just imagine Neymar at 24 after 4 years at Barcelona,he would understand our concept and use it well along with his natural play style.Thiago would be playing along with him and we would have one helluva team.
So In a way I think I have just answered my own question and have decided that I feel we should sign Neymar
