Only watched the first half but it was a series of very intelligent passes/maneuvers, however some just barely didn't come off (a long ball where the receiver stopped his run, a one touch through ball where the attacker didn't even run, etc.) so it seems a bit of a teammate communication thing. Understandable considering he hasn't played many games with them yet.

I love his quick thinking and intelligence though, especially under pressure. The flaw actually seemed to be that he was a few steps ahead of everyone else :lol:

You could tell he's been out a while, he became tired as the game wore on. I said I bet he'd pull up eventually because of how much he was running.

And he did.

Got so much potential, one of my favourite youngsters in the world.

Playing today vs Valencia, can't watch but I hope he does well. It's about time that he moved back to his native CM though.

He was awesome, yet again. You give this kid a starting birth from next year... and play him for 3/4 seasons he'll be complete.

A proper allrounder. similar to Ramsey. Good on the ball, good with the through balls, can also defend.

Hope he continues at Atletico for a minimum of 2 years, and then gets a move to Barca.

I don't like that he is constantly played out of position. You only see his full potential when he plays centrally.
