Nobody expects him to resemble prime Suarez, come on. He's sadly a player who'll miss an open net in seven out of nine occasions. His shots are so slow that keepers can start running from the bench and still make it in time. Handball style. Has been moving well recently, mostly creates chances for himself, but not for others due to poor passing. Bit of a useless player for the team, all things considered.
That said, I think he should be renewed. 10m gross, 5m net seems reasonable if must be. Might do better selling him in one of the forthcoming summers too. Due to covid passing and him being on a longer contract.

Strange that we didn't renew him yet. To me it smells of him running down his contract for a big fat bonus elsewhere.

Because Dembele was 2nd most hyped young talent in Europe in 2017.
And since Barca were desperate to replace Neymar, Dortmund was able to demand €105m + €40m add-ons for him.

He is a terrible, terrible player. Always was. But he is fast and can feint sometimes, and it's evidently enough for him to score one goal and people think everything is fine.
Would be nice to see someone cut similar compilations from some of Griezmanns 2021 games. He is even worse, and lack Dembeles speed as well as ability to sometimes feint...
0:10 for one moment where Busquets was singled out as being ridiculously slow in the match chat btw. The loose ball was easily picked up by Mingueza just after.

He was so try hard with his flashy stuff trying to double down on his lack of confidence that night except the doubling down made it much worse. It?s clear that he choked before the game even started. Could say the same thing vs Liverpool first leg
