Yeah, it was exciting to see someone dribble with speed through the Dynamo defence. Before his introduction the game was dead - Dynamo were sitting comfortably in defense and we were playing tiki-taka in the middle and wings, with no offensive idea whatsoever. At the current level of quality in the squad he is among the top players, but his constant injuries are a bitch that will seal his career, looks like.

This is where these guys are currently at with Dembele, all he has to do is exist on the pitch and he'll be deemed as good. Good cameo because he's fast and the opposition is scared of the potential threat from his speed, not because he actually did anything meaningful with the ball and had a good performance. These are the standards they have for him, all he has to do is exist to be a good player. It's actually laughable.

I am 90% certain we wouldn't have scored without Dembele in that game. There's more to football than just assists and goals.
