I've been seeing many Chelsea fans now that wished they went all out for Dembele when he was free a few weeks ago due to his performances so far, it's still too early to judge but I felt they would've had a better chance convincing Dembele than Raphinha, as Raphinha's main goal was to play for Barca while Dembele probably accepted our offer after not getting the kind of offers he was expecting, I think he would've even left if they offered him what they offered Sterling or even less by some margin. The good thing is that we'll be able to sell him for a considerable amount if he keeps performing and avoids injury. Win-win for us

I think Dembele really wanted to stay. Of course...any football player would likely leave if they felt they were being massively underpaid, but I think he would have compromised to an extent regaradless.
Man finally learned Spanish, now he has to start anew with English. His wife is Moroccan and both likely heavily prefer Spanish weather and stones throw away from Morocco. Also seems to have good relationship with Auba and likes Xavi.


I don't think Chelsea was every in the cards for him. Maybe PSG with a crazy offer.
