But didn't you know, you can't count that because all he does is spam crosses and anyone can do that. Anyone.

It's not like having a good final ball is even a skill anymore. Half the people on this thread could just knock the ball on and spam a cross, you idiot!!

You forgot to include how low IQ he is.

A bit of a shit graph. It makes much more sense to simply compare his output with his failing, that is what it is all about.

Yes he spams crosses and difficult passes. This graph only tells you that his passing leads to 3 shots per game, which is slightly more than most players, and that these shots are from slightly better positions than average.

Barcelona still wait a bit more for their shots, they probably shoot less per possession than any other team, and wait for better options. Or rather, they are a brilliant team, who give the ball to Dembele to create with full license to fail. He can even fail once every other minute, and still play on and play the next game too! Dembele dribbles until he loses the ball or can play an easy assist attempt, or spam crosses that will of course usually lead to a shot from a good position when they do end up in a shot (he succeeded with 2 out of 40 crosses or what was it, a while ago?), or play passes backwards that never end up in a direct shot.

Someone like de Bruyne for example will more often pass to a midfield colleague who might try a shot more often than Pedri or Gavi do, that is why his average xA per key pass is lower than Dembeles.

LMAOL:lol:

Your reading is what is shitty, or I should say totally dumb?

If a player gives you per 90 min 3 key passes X 0.18 xA on average
it means that he gives you more or less 0.62 xG created from his feet every game, which is an insane number.
Or to put it differently he gives you 2 clear-cut chances per game that a competent finisher converts any day of the week.

So Dembele serves on average 2 goals on the plate for attackers to finish.

Yup indeed VERY DUMP
not the player, but the idiots here doubting him:lol:

I hope he leaves. Honestly tired of him and his 2 goals/per season ratio, but even more tired of his entourage, who consider him Neymar (under 25) 2.0, but in reality his inconsistency makes him Adama 2.0 at best. Crossing merchant. All that baggage, and that's without the constant fear of him getting injured again. I'm so over and done with him in my mind. Especially if Raphinha becomes available for 25M in three days.

Wasn't select by french NT, that's harsh.... Hope he doesn't renew this summer and leave but i'll enjoy see how he evolve in another team though

He's been looking incredibly motivated the last few months, I'll give him that.

That is probably due to two things:
1. Getting a new fat contract
2. Returning to France NT for World Cup

Curious to see how he'll fare in January, when both these matters are settled. Also interested in seeing how he'll handle not being called up for France now.

Kinda funny they didn't call him up now, when he deserved a spot on the team but previously he always included no matter what.

Dembele himself wanted time off?

Griezmann
Benzema
Mbappe

Coman
Ben Yedder
Diaby
Nkunku

Attackers called up. Top three are untouchable.
Ben Yedder, Diaby and Nkunku have been racking up points for their clubs. Diaby and Coman are the only pure wingers, and France don't really play with wingers.

Diaby 13+12 in 32 games in BuLi
Nkunku 20+15 in 34 games in BuLi (31+20 in 51 in all comps holy shit)
Ben Yedder 24+5 in 36 games in L1
Coman 6+3 in 21 games in BuLi
Dembele 1+13 in 20 games in LL

Safe to say, even if Dembele can be considered deserving of a callup, the others' numbers are more impressive, expect for Coman.

It's quite simple, he's just not good enough. Whilst other forwards are busy scoring goals and making their teams challenge for and/or win titles, Ousmanes Barca forum entourage are busy wanking over his progressive carries and 4 key crosses a match. Well when it's difficult to watch and call what he does on pitch quality, it's easy to see why they rely on excel spreadsheets. How else would you convince yourself?

Frances squad already has great passers of the ball, why would they want a forward whose only good quality is crossing the ball from the sidelines? Forwards are supposed to be inside the box, or carry the ball into it in order to score goals.

There's no space in that quality team for a glorified wingback. They'll just go for the actual lethal forwards, because unlike Barcelona they're not so desperate to settle for Dembele. They want to win titles, they don't want someone completely vanish in big games like Ousmane does for us.

Plus whenever he's called up he's always shit for France.

Makes sense. Dembele needs to add scoring to be as effective as these guys. He is not doing that now.

Nkunku unreal
