Will he now get chances in the first team?

If it is accurate, then surely he will play as a sub for Casadó

Prim was listed for CL by Flick too as supplementary so there must’ve been indications he was angling over terms vs genuine desire to exit

Also should mean vaya con dios for Frenkie

Frenkie's situtation is not at all linked to this.

I think Prim is too late with the signature and he won't get much chances since midfielders are coming back from injuries. Maybe he'll get minutes if we have a similar crisis which is possible. He should sign in the summer and he would play plenty from avgust until now like Casado did.

Best he will get I feel is some first team training sessions, but won't be relevant this season unless we hit another injury crisis.

He dragged it out too long, might as well he had left.

Maybe he'll be like casado, take a few years before he's fully ready.

Bollocks. Glad he’s staying.

Won’t be easy to get minutes with everyone fit but unrealistic that lasts long.

I wondered if he realized if he wanted first-team minutes this was going to be as good as it gets for him in comparison to the other offers he has.

I mean, Frenkie has been away 6 months and is yet to play under Flick. Frenkie would really have to "wow" me against decent teams - if he's just barely better than Casado for example... what's the point? He's on 20M a year, he's not getting younger and he sort of holds value internationally - if he doesn't give us value for the money, I wouldn't hesitate to sell.

I think realistically Prim now has the chance to make himself the standout player of the B, the same way guys like Casado and Collado had before.

Then keep going and get a training call up here and there. With a bit of perseverance he may get a Copa shot or next summers pre-season.

Not everyone needs to break through at 17/18. That's the exception. Prim is still 18 so a 19 or 20 opportunity is still fine.

If Prim is indeed extending, then he will get a shot with the 1st team which places FDJ further from Barca’s long-term orbit. It effectively seals his fate, IMHO - bench fodder until he is sold or lets his contract out

Me, I would not register the player (FDJ) when it comes up again
