I think it could just be MD trying to prop up Bartomeu's chances.

From what I have read, it is FAR from a done deal, they are just saying that this is Pogba's wish at this point (if MD's report can be trusted in the first place). Meanwhile Raiola is still keeping the door open to other bidders and trying to keep the bidding war going, and Raiola reportedly wants him to go somewhere else since we are apparently not the highest bidder.

No. An incoming transfer cannot be announced before the elections ends and the new board takes over.

MD is a part of Grupo Godo who are actively supporting Bartomeu's candidacy. They helped fund Rosell in 2010 so they'll try to do whatever it takes to put him in a good light and all the other candidates in a bad one.

Hostility from both sides is a problem, but from what I've seen and this is about all the fanboys that exists on this forum, it's usually the other part that provokes them and then all hell breaks loose.

What is a 'regular' Barca fan here? Someone who supports a player and is a regular Barca fan is called for a fanboy for absolutely no reason here by those who got nothing to do other than start a fire just because of their personal dislike of a player.

That is slowly ebbing out though since his contribution to his first titles with us. Before that he was "a show pony not worth any respect until he contributes to the teams titles and learns to speak Catalan in his sleep blah blah blah". So, now we won a title with Ney and most peep's (but certainly not all) who got it all wrong calling out anybody defending Ney "ohhh fanboy gtfo" are slowly calming down.
