Paul Pogba

We lacked squad depth, and we paid the price for playing the same 11 players for 24 Months in a row, as expected.
So, you are right, some depth may help.

But imo, as I have said above, depth won't help if our starters have lost their motivation (Pique, Masch, Alves, Alba, Busi, Iniesta, Messi + Neymar who's motivation and a mental stability is a really questionable term)

1. Pogba was good this season
2. but mostly our team disappointed me, especially in a spring, as explained above: walking, no motivation, no energy.
Our 2 current starters with a highest level of motivation, are imo, Suarez and Rakitic, since they won only 1 Cl+2 La Ligas, and some trophies in former teams.

But then, it isn't a good thing when our 2 the most motivated players are aged 29 (Sukki) and 28 (Raki), lol.

Last summer, I hated Pogba because of how he played, high wages, personality.
Plus, I believed (since we won a treble) that we just need to prolong our golden era/team for 2-3-4 more years with oldies for rotation like Arda.

But our starters deteriorated a lot on a motivational level (imo), and I don't have faith in their motivation anymore.
We could, by some luck, pull some insane season next season in a CL, but after that, our current team is dead, without new blood.
So, imo, without new star players, an average motivation of our starting 11 is either already dead or will be dead completely by 2017 and 2018.

And from all players in the world available currently, players whom I would like here the most are Pogba, Gundogan, Reus (all of them are somewhat younger, and without club's titles, so they will be filled with motivation for 3-5 years here). But since we can't play Reus in this moment (due to Neymar), Pogba and Gundogan (and Verratti, of course) are the best options out there.
And since we do have some money to spend, I would rather now take Pogba for 100M, than Bellerin for 40 and some other hara-kiri suicidal transfers of young and expensive Cbs, Rbs and Lbs, who may end as poor as Bartra or Vidal, and yet instead of splashing 40+50 for a Rb+Cb, we can more or less get a proven superstar=Pogba.

No, seriously, I am not trolling.
Our team disappointed me in a CL (Barca in a CL is my life and my obsession, lol, I don't care for Cdr, Supercups and similar).
And Real winning it was a final nail in the coffin for me.

So, Pogba, please come :barcascarf:

Barca killed BBZ8800
we need players who can vie for a starting spot.
but somehow people here prefer getting bench players to rest our starters.
I agree with you
pogba, sergi Roberto at RB, Denis and Ricardo Rodriguez would be great

that's my opinion too .. i believe we went astray once Bayern started to care about midfield more than us .. i dont like this new version of Barcelona emulating real Madrid and shit . i believe we need a world class midfielder more than anything.
as for Poga there are obstacles beside the transfer fee, our wages are out of control. to bring Porgba means you have to put him on a huge salary, don't know if that is even possible once we renew Neymar and Messi

Wages wouldn't be an issue as he is the second most marketable athlete in the world. Imagine having Messi, Neymar, Pogba and Pique in the same team. We would certainly become the richest club in the world...

if we are not signing him this summer then can at least have a pre deal with him for next summer?

I really doubt he will stay at Juve for another season and only few interested clubs can afford him: City, Chelsea and Real

He has shown the opposite indication.

Again, I ask you for a single source for your 200m valuation of Pogba. He will never cost more than 100m at max

What did Ney cost a few years ago when there was far less money in the game? He had a year left on his contract (which roughly halves a player's fee), and he still cost an arm and a leg. Was it 90m? 100m? Pogba has at least as big marketing potential as Ney, he has a long contract, money in football has skyrocketed since then, so prepare for something closer to 200m. 80-100m is NOT going to happen, that is for sure.

That's your calculations. Not a source.

No, thats rational thinking. Juve would be acting like complete boneheads if they decide to sell him for such a paltry sum like 80-100m euros.

There are no sources on any sum. Because only Juve knows, thats the only "source" and they of course do NOT give a number. These low figures are only meant to keep people deluded that we can get him on the cheap.

Jombi, his price was 100M last summer.
Unless if his price skyrocketed this season, everything indicates that his price will still be around 100M.

Prices are high for cheaper players.
Those who were worth 5 Millions (5 years ago), are sold for 10M today.
Those who were worth 20 M, are sold for 40M today.
Those who were worth 50M, are sold for 70-80M today.

But once you reach 60-70-80M, prices aren't doubled as for for players who are worth 10-50 Millions.

There are 50-100 teams in the world who can afford players worth 10-40 Millions.
There are only 5-6 teams in the world who can afford 80-100 Million players.
Supply and demand.

This is why prices for very top players won't rise that much, compared to prices of average players.

Bellerin, Laporte and similar are examples of overpriced players worth 20-50M.

I'd say on the contrary, the richest clubs are pulling ahead of everyone else, and have huge amounts of cash to burn compared to just a couple of years ago, when we spent 100m on Ney who had a year left on his contract. 80-100m for a young, highly marketable superstar like Pogba with a long contract in today's market is delusion IMO.
