It will probably take the next 10-15 years until transfer fees will go up to around 150M (but they will go progressively not just jump from 100M to 150M) and I can't really ever see 200M transfer fee. Yes, clubs are getting richer but it's not just transfer fees they have to pay to make those kind of transfers. If you are willing to pay that much for player then you have to also pay him 25-30M per season and we can almost double that amount for taxes in most countries (not to mention effect that would have on other star players already in the squad who would also probably demand pay rise in that case). It's a big investition worth almost half of the budget of clubs like RM or Barça right now and around 70-80% budget for oil-rich clubs like City or PSG.

If Juve is demanding 150M for Pogba these are just other words for he's not for sale. No club will pay that in the near future.

He's surely coming to Barça. Just not this summer.

What did Ney cost a few years ago when there was far less money in the game? He had a year left on his contract (which roughly halves a player's fee), and he still cost an arm and a leg. Was it 90m? 100m? Pogba has at least as big marketing potential as Ney, he has a long contract, money in football has skyrocketed since then, so prepare for something closer to 200m. 80-100m is NOT going to happen, that is for sure.

Because CR knows that if they get Pogba it means that they will be much stronger and that he will win several more Ballon d'Ors. Probably will surpass Messi. How will they be set? Ronaldo is 31, Benzema is 29, Ramos is 30, Modric is 31. Pogba is just 1 very good midfielder. He's not gonna score 50 goals a season
