How will they be set? Ronaldo is 31, Benzema is 29, Ramos is 30, Modric is 31. Pogba is just 1 very good midfielder. He's not gonna score 50 goals a season

Exactly.
Los Merengues have at least as many ageing key players who'll need to be replaced soon, as we do.

But alas, we're turning into AC Milan, while Isco, Kovacic, Casemiro and Varane will rule Spanish football for the next decade...

Our midfield under Lucho doesn't if we're honest. The guys at the top scoring well over 100 goals a season do.

I'd say MSN scored 100+ goals despite our lackluster midfield. The fact that Messi has to constantly drop deep, link up and create opportunities speaks for itself. Imagine what a really good midfield does to MSN and our defense.

I don't really see it like that. I think our midfield is very good. They work incredibly hard, and that's the biggest part of their job under Lucho. They do what the team requires.

And under Pep our midfield was superb in possession and ball retention and was essential to our success, yet Messi was the key just as MSN are key now.

With the same amount of shoots? Yes, absolutely.

One of the most misunderstood stats ever. Ronaldo takes many shoots from silly angles and positions, not to mention he is kinda overrated from a distance as well. He scores almost all his goal inside the box, the amount of shoots he takes has little to do with his ability to score whatsoever. So all Pogba would have to do is make runs inside the box and take penalties, that should easily net him 50-60 goals a season, since its so easy.

Pogba is a typical RM transfer. Young and very marketable. James, Ronaldo, Bale, Kroos, Ramos, Pepe, Marcelo, Isco, Casemiro, Benzema etc etc were all bought at a young age. They shun players with fewer years left who are pushing 30 as they dont feel there is enough value in such transfers.

James + cash for Pogba. I can honestly see it happening, no joke.

Zidane is not even gonna be there for more than another season max.

So if Pogba joins them for that or the big money then his stupidity knows no bounds. An average season and he'll get booted out like James, especially because of The Fat Rat and Flo's bad relationship.

What makes you think Zidane might not do an equally good job next season, Don?

Even though we Cules don't like it or don't want to acknowledge it, Real Madrid is one of the most prestigious clubs in the world and they are dubbed "the most successful club in the 20th century" because of the silverware they won, most players would join them in the blink of an eye, without hesitation, despite their reputation of being somewhat a flashy and superficial club when it comes to signing players.
