I really liked Messi on right even though he moved to the middle often.

Right but that's the best thing about Alves, he allows Messi to roam free into middle when he starts on the right. I don't think Messi was told to just play on the right, I think he was told to play both on the right and behind Villa. Alexis -Villa - Messi should be used in a few league games to test it further.

Yup. Relatively invisible and not of too much use IMO. Did have some good play here and there but overall just not cutting it these days.

The fact that he's suspended has raised spirits of fellow cules is a damning verdict of Pedro's season. Majority of us like him but dont like that he doesnt have to fight for a place in the starting XI like Villa, Tello etc. and hasnt shown signs of improvement

Another quiet game but you've got to love his determination. First he runs like a madman to get the ball out of the net after Messi's first goal and then he's back in defense ahead of both Piqué and Alba when Niang hit the post.

Still, based on current form, he shouldn't be a starter.
