Then we need to change our fullbacks to. Let's see if Neymar puts in at least half the defensive work Pedro or Sanchez puts in. With fullbacks like Alba and Alves we will get even more screwed next season.

Problem is that this whole season, we have only attacked with 3 players, and sometimes Iniesta, the rest are just standing back to afraid to get caught on the counter attacks.
Its not easy attacking 3 against 10, and even though Alves might get some crosses in, were to short to make use of them.
Then you take Bayern, or RM, they attack with 5-6 players ready to run into the box.
Our posessionplay is starting so hurt us so much we have become extremly slow.

yeah all that defensive work worked a treat tonight.
Messi, Henry and Ronaldinho never put in the defensive work Pedro and Sanchez do but they are a different class to the wide players Barcelona have now.
Far too much emphasis on wingers at Barcelona being defenders now.

We actually agree with each other, even if it doesn't look like it at first glance
Before we had a fit Puyol, Pique that had his mind on football and 1 fullback that could defend and stayed back most of the time. We also had wingers that could rip defenses apart. Today, we don't have any of those things. I'm starting to think Tito got his tactics all wrong and our management bought/kept the wrong players.

In the second half one nice skill which kind of bamboozeled Lahm and the also finished it off with a lethal cross, did a great defensivie work shame him nor anyone else of Barca could pose much of a attacking threat

I might get some backlash for this and just for the record this is in no way a knee jerk reaction but I think we need to part ways with Pedro and Sanchez for good.
Their defensive work is great, Their work-rate is second to none, but this is exactly what Manchester United fans used to say about Ji Sung Park. Pedro is a far better player than him but we need to think bigger. The reality is that the world's best players are becoming more concentrated within a select number of Elite clubs. Bayern and Madrid have built squads so strong that they have zero weak spots. They have world class talent in every position and bench-warmers who would walk into nearly every team in the world. Pedro and Sanchez are great players but the gulf in class between them and Bayern's wingers was astonishing.
We need a serious upgrade on our wings.

There's no point in selling Pedro. He should be faced with more serious competition for a starting place but he's a great player to have in the squad.
