Pedro Rodriguez

Berkeleys pictures sum up why Pedro shouldn't be sold and why Alves is garbage when it comes to defending.

And also illustrates the fact that being a defender on paper counts for nothing if you don't put in the work to track back and actually defend.

Pedro to rotate between RB and sub for the forwards, let's make it happen Lucho. :hooray:

I absolutely luvd that finish, perfect placement! Damn, my Pedro love machine is gaining momentum again...

It was an excellent finish, but it was the space, Alba's excellent cross, his good first touch, and Messi's run that gave him the luxury of setting it up well before he struck the ball. He often doesn't have that kind of time when he gets the ball in scoring positions. His threaded goal vs Huesca was more difficult, as was his assist to Messi. Let's hope he can stay as relaxed and sharp against more difficult defenses.

Because for the past season and half this forum has been screaming to sell Pedro, replace him with Deulo/Adama/Munir, sack Lucho for playing him, for subbing him in.

Pedro played extremely well in the first half and declined in the 2nd like every other player. He needs a good team around him and only then he can show his individual skills.

If he continues playing like this then he should stay, if not money from his sale could go towards midfield or defense and we have young forwards trying to make it here that deserve a shot if he's squandering his time and ours.

The thing that suprised me was his first touch, he used to have a brilliant first touch back in the day but it seemed to have disappeared completely...

Let's hope he can make the most of the minutes he's given, he's been improving since Suárez started playing...
