These fuckers man. They lose their 3 regulars in the back with Courtois, Alaba and Militao to injury. Add to that their top scorer from last year without replacing him lmao. Still they manage to win CL + Liga double by reaching 99 points.

They perfected Ancelotti's most pragmatic tactic, many of their players are on their peak. It's their time now, we need to accept it. But the good thing in football is, you can always try again next season. Any time ends. Theirs will too, same as our era ended. Let's see how Mbappe will fit and how their players will accept his spotlight and a place on the bench after the typical honeymoon start. Too many cooks can ruin the dish.

edit: And to be honest, losing Alaba helped them. Their defense got a lot better without him. And they had a good second keeper of course, not Pena 2.0.

We are a fairly boring side. Doesnt mean we suck, wouldnt care what dogmatists say tbh let them cry, Barca is the laughing stock and they need an outlet. We're top 2-3 teams in Europe and can beat anyone in crunch game. Can only beat whats in front of you. Probably the best big team in Europe this season and not much between us and City in direct meetings last 3 years all things considered

Stop talking nonsense. The city is many miles ahead of you. The difference is that you advanced to the next round with such a crap performance, and Barcelona would have lost with a score of 0-5.

Nah, not much between us, as shown in 2 of 3 last knockouts where they either dont capitalize or dont hold their nerve.

No need to worry anyway. At the end of day nobody really cares about a club with 115 charges and everything Pep's done there will be tainted as appropriate, so we're pretty much the best legitimate team around

I'm not talking about results, but about the quality of the game. 6 last matches. 12 halves + 2 added halves. You may have been better than City in only 1-2 halves in terms of quality of play. So don't talk nonsense here.

Doesnt matter. Played well enough to stay in the game 5 of last 6 meetings and was only clearly outplayed in one. Not much between two sides on those grounds. If City were much better would have gone well ahead. Didnt. And then got rolled in the final as well despite the score. Overall just not as good as made out to be over span of several seasons, barely managed to get the results they should have with resources they have

After this season Pl is a bit overrated imo, peak Arsenal looses against the worst Bayern since 20 years, Liverpool looses 3-0 against Atalanta which couldnt beat Juve, City is class but overall i expected more from them against Real

Real isnt really strong either but the quality of football is atm so low that they are a top1/2 team in the world

You were humiliated in 12 out of 14 halves of matches.

I wouldn't want my team to win titles with a game like this.

Nah far from it. Stayed in the game. While Barca normally get whooped by large margins

Genius takes

'Stayed in the game'

Of course, cauz Madrid always manage to apply the whole voodoo book in every CL knockout to stay in the game. You don't deserve any merit or credit for opponents missing sitters or hitting crossbars. Nor for deflecting a ball on two heads without any intention to score a goal.

That's what your biased brain can't get
That's the life of the average cocky Madritista

In the end, RM stopped City from defending UCL, feels great.

City may own the EPL, not so easy to do the same with Europe.

We knocked them out twice in three years while they are in their golden era and we are rebuilding 😀

You never know with Pep, but we might have seen the peak of City already.

KDB, their best player, is turning 33 and is having struggles with injuries, might need replacing in a couple of years...
