Because no one gives a shit anymore. Dortmund can outplay anyone on their best days, Schalke could never do that if we actually wanted to play. Thats why the season is lost, there is not even any effort anymore. The players decided to take summerbreak 3 months before summer.

Ahhh ok. Your players don´t want to win trophies. They just play as a hobby.

What???? You are saying you guys weren't taking Schalke seriously and you didn't want to play? You let them beat you? You guys were saving for this weekend's game against Levante I guess?

So friggin' snobbish.

Yes and no. The guys decided to take break 3 months early(or maybe more), regardless of the team they face. Its not underestimating, there is just no desire to win games or trophies anymore. They dont care if they lose or they win. Certainly wasnt saving themselves for the game in the weekend, they will have the same attitude in that game.

So you think it's time for a wholesale clean out of the squad if this continues?

Teams are gonna have a blip. They're still in it and very much in the league, even if we beat them. Don't write them out of anything.

Isco and Benzema were dreadful!

Ronaldo about the only one to come away with any credit for his desire to get the two goals but other than that he was shit on ball.

They really weren't. Both put in huge work. Benz showed for the ball all day long, though his passing was a bit meh. Dunno how you could call either of those 2 dreadful, just about everyone else was. Bale was laughably shit too

True they look very beatable and ready to be finished but are still very much in everything so if/when they turn things around they can still run away withh al the prices...
With a little luck they would be out today, and behind 7 points in 12 days.
But Real doesnt suffer from bad luck very often.

Kroos really looks fucked lately, was always gonna happen with the lack of rotation.

Isco constantly gave ball away and provided no cover for defence.

Benzema as well just did very little and couldnt hold ball up.

Bale was probably worse than them both but Isco and Benzema to me were really fucking bad.

Ronaldo was lazy and whiny throughout. Benz and Isco were very good.

Isco was awful! He's supposed to be a midfielder but he let Schalke run rings around him. Zero support for the defence, zero organization and ball movement, zero penetration.

Wow, they're in a real crisis now.

One can only hope that they'll arrive at the Camp Nou without self-confidence but Ancelotti might be able to fix the major problems, especially because Modric and Ramos are back. Of course they can't fix every problem because it seems to lay much deeper but I'm sure they'll recover for the Clasico and will be very very tough to beat.
