How long will the appeal process take?

It should be done b4 next round of the CDR I think

Real Madrid has now failed to win the Treble for the 113th time in their history.

Let's be classy here ,the treble only existed when CL started in 1955 .so it is only 60 years

Seriously, please don't let this be a blessing in disguise for them since Real Madrid will be focusing on the league and the CL while we have to battle on four fronts.

We 6 points ahead of them with clear h2h advantage .if they won this league title it will because of us choking .nothing else

Are they right though? That a suspension can only be effective when the player is personally notified?

So only Villarreal was notified and Real Madrid didn't bother to check the list of suspended players?

You're welcome
I don't understand how Cherychev can say he wasn't notified. He knows how the card system works right? He was there when he received the card right?

It is quite confusing indeed. Does RFEF communicate suspension by simply publishing the list of suspensions on their site or do they send some sort of notifications to the club and player involved?

This is what the judge said, - use logic, professional footballer should know himself how many cards he has.

It appears so that they send fax to the club and when the notification is send, this legally means that player is notified, they don't have to send another fax to the player.

RFEF's explanation of their decision ruled against Real Madrid (11 pages)

http://cdn1.sefutbol.com/sites/defa...solucion_1-16_ida_copa_rey_cadiz-r.madrid.pdf

Someone on reddit paraphrased it:

RFEF told Villareal of the match ban and also announced it publicly on its website
Madrid said neither they nor the player was told. However, it is obvious beyond doubt that Villareal would tell Cheryshev about the suspension because that's what every club does every time (yeah, that's a weird statement). Moreover, Villareal never had the obligation to dell Cheryshev as per article 41.3.
RM can suck it with their interpretation of article 41. For starters, making a public anouncement on RFEFs website is enough for it to be public knowledge.
So the player should have known because we told his club, and RM should have known because its public and any fool should do due diligence and check the website.
RM can suck it even more because Cheryshev was on loan, so you would expect RM to at least check up on him, including his cards.
Many clubs ask us at the start of the season, just to be sure, about what players have suspensions and for which competitions. Real didn\'t ask so they can suck it (slight translator freedom here). They are a much bigger club than then humble Villareal, why do they expect Villareal to be RMs secretary?
Cheryshev can also suck it
bla bla bla
Suspensions reset after the third round but only for the teams that played them, not for teams that start on the 4th round

haha this gets better everyday, not only are they stupid enough to get into a situation like this, they continue to handle it absolutely pathetic...
whats next: Cheryshev claiming that the referee in the copa game last season just SHOWED him the yellow card, but did not NOTIFIE him about the yellow card, so its not valid...

i want Lionel Hutz as Madrid lawyer in that case if they go to CAS
