Had you guys drawn Juve or Arsenal things might have been different but Roma at their current state should be an easy 6-1 over two games.

Roma is too weak. Cr will probably score 5 goals in both ties.
Thats just how Real Madrid is, there is no hope, we are simply doomed.

They can only get better. We played them without Totti, Salah, Gervinho etc. who are among their best players. I don't think they will get thrashed. CL games in Italy are always challenging.

As long as we are within range, a lot can change.
Just look at how disjointed Barca was last season until December.

Already 5 points behind barca and lost the h2h result while we are getting reinforced come january and will have played all teh tough away games already.
Also already out of the copa and paying without a plan and an icompetent pour man's mou as coach who clashes with players.
And to add insult to injury Ronaldo has declined adn cant pull the trigger no more against top teams.
Last year around this date you guys beat Almeria, 1-4. it was the 20th victory in a row, even Bale scored.
Meanwhile we drew at Getafe 0-0 and were 4 points behind.
Real's 2015 is a disaster though, worse than our 2014 with no hope on the horizon in the near future.
In theory of course, it could all go a 180 like last year but at the moment there is no indication that Real will pull themselves together and have bbc go beastmode like Msn post anoeta.

Real Madrid and Barca are so far ahead of everyone on talent that 'away' games have no meaning (unless maybe Athletico Madrid).
When Real or Barca lose away games, its because they have seriously underperformed.
Your statement would have been accurate if they were playing in the English League.
Copa Del Rey is hardly a tournament of interest to anyone in Barca or Madrid.
For the amount invested, the expectations will always be one of CL or La Liga.
Being out of Copa could help our Liga expectations.
Not the correct attitude to have but it is realistic.
Where has Rafa clashed with anybody?
James was clearly unfit and had traveled all the way back from South America. He hasn't performed well since then and I think he may be less than 100% fit.
Ronaldo is a prima donna who can't even sacrifice himself by temporarily playing center forward while we are in the midst of an injury crisis. How is that Rafa's fault?
I agree on Ronaldo's age catching up with him but what about individual player responsibility?
Bale, James, etc. all should be able to score at least 2 goals a game.
