What is this philisophy of yours that impedes the signing of Casillas besides the fact that it is impossible?

Call me a naive romantic or whatever but I believe some players should stay at their clubs where their name is engraved so to say. Trying to convince them with money etc. to make a transfer to the archrivals is not something I like, especially with players that became symbols for their clubs. That said, even asking for Casillas would piss me off.

Metin Oktay who is a Galatasaray legend was made an offer from Fenerbahce's president in that time, his response was short but maybe the more meaningful "we shouldn't hurt the ones who love us"...

I understand the economics, the business model etc. of this game as well as the commercialisation it has been through, however I still like to see some emotions in the game.

Figo's leaving Barca was Barca's mistake above everything else. However I just think it's not appropriate to ask for Casillas when he is going through shitty times at the club he loves, even if that's a rival.

I like to see my favorite club like that...

My question to you was what is your club's philosophy? Barcelona has no philosophy that prevents them from buying Casillas beyond a gentleman's agreement between presidents.

I think there's more to the slogan of mes que un club, which Barca represents. I'd like to beleve that it is not only a gentleman's agreement.

Not asking for Casillas should belong there...
