I don't think Pep will be back any time soon, if he will ever be back. Both he and Bayern management have confirmed that his tenure at Bayern is a long-term engagement, despite the criticism he received in his first season, it appears he is finally putting Bayern on the right track, there is no reason for him to leave Bayern, which will build a dynasty with him. After that, as he said himself, he wants to get his feet wet one day in the EPL. Perhaps he will return after 10, 15 years?

Back on track? Bayern was always on the track with Pep. Not winning CL is not a failure. It's one thing to bring a team to world class level, a whole different thing is to sustain it for a long term.

Losing 4-0 against RM was failure man ,specially when you are coaching the best team in the world who won the trio the season b4

I doubt he will stay there long beyond his current contract ,it seems to me that Pep isn't gonna be that kind of coach who can stay very long with one club ,I think he will be back but as you said it might be 10 may be 20 years from now

He received A LOT OF criticism from Bayern fans, many wanted to have him sacked.

Thing I never understood is why he only signed one year deals with us yet has signed a more long term deal at Bayern. Anyone know why that is. Has he ever said?

Guessing its because of the intense pressure that comes with being our manager.

Of course. Bayer was flying with Jupp and suddenly comes the guy with whole different approach of playing football. They cannot ask them self would
Jupp be able to sustain Bayer on that level for another year. So far no one has won CL in two times in a row. Coaching big clubs is pain. And I wish
for Pep and Bayern to devastate everyone (well not us :) ) just to shut up these 'supporters'.

They fell apart in the 2nd half of the season.

true, but they were already champions at that point, which makes it more of a trolling of the other german teams than anything else.

also, a lot of the players were probably "saving themselves for the world cup"

what's the ol' cueball supposed to do about that? nothing, that's what.
