City can squeeze out FFP moves to Saudi that we can only dream of with their connections and deals linked to other deals.

Not sure they really benefited that much from Saudis.

Mahrez 35m maybe but then Laporte and Cancelo for around 25m, they could have gotten that money from other PL or European clubs (ofc not Barca).

Compared to Saudis now spending double or triple that money on likes of Duran, Otavio, Galeno, Diaby,...who yes are younger but also don't have CV of those City players.

Let's see how much they'll get for Ederson but I expect something between 25-30m.

But overall I think City are not really that great at selling. They def are compared to us but that's not really hard. We are one of the worst selling clubs in the world and our players usually don't want to leave - fair question is why would they if they have almost Saudi level wages here while living in a great city and playing (or "playing") for a big club. I wouldn't leave either in their place so don't blame the players but rather the club who gave them these big wages.

Yeah will come down to can those CBs deal with Haaland vs can City deal with pace of City up top.

Arguable tbh. Asencio is pretty good, Valverde also not bad as a right back espencially in the defensive part, Mendy sucks but already won 2 CL with him starting while Tchou sucks yeah
