It's like he purposefully tried to be annoying. He's gonna rub the bench so hard this season his ass is gonna hurt if he keeps this attitude.

Yeah, and he repeats these tricks at every opportunity. You'd give him a pass if he'd do it only once in a while but it's like groundhog day with this guy. You can predict what he'll do before even getting the ball.

Beyond garbage player and it was an insult that he was ever touted as the "next Iniesta" with his level of tunnel vision. Shows that simple 1v1 dribbling and a bit of footwork here and there isn't enough to be Iniesta, far from it.

We are wasting his time and he is wasting our time. Should leave really. No hard feelings, it seems even Alena can so his job as a midfielder and he should be nowhere near the left flank.
Doesn't seem to fit anywhere.

He was a panic buy an.

Not sure if he was a panic buy. He was bought mid-season. Everyone including 95% of the members here thought he would fit like a glove. People been saying for years Coutinho would be a good fit so it only made sense to go after him.

What is messed up though.. He looked good for the first 6 months. He was maybe the second best player behind Messi in that period, so I am not sure where that Coutinho disappeared?! Did he stop working hard in practise? Valverdes inability to get the best out of him? What the hell happened?

Sensible players like Coutinho, Mané need a father figure like Klopp in order to get the best out of them. In his first 6 months he still had the Liverpool-flow in him which disappeared after pre-season. Not wanting to say De Jong is a sensible player too, but I'm pretty sure he will 'decline' after some time training under Valverde, losing his Ajax-flow. It's natural. When you sign a player, you also sign the ideas of his former coach.

He was not a panic buy. He is simply a flopped transfer due to bad attitude and mentality mostly.

I agree. We have seen that maybe he lacks the mentality to play for the top team. Liverpool didn't have expectations when he played for them. He is cracking under pressure.

Totally. Very disappointing in how he reacted in front of high expectations. He has the technical tools, has a superb shot, but man, his attitude sucks. Has no desire to dig deep and prove the media and the fans wrong.

He just slows up play by doing so many unnecessary stepovers etc. Even his team mates look like they don’t know if and when he’s gonna release the ball.

I’ve said it before but price to performance ratio he was the biggest flop in Barca history. He had some great moments at Liverpool mainly in the 16/17 season and the half season before he came here but he was overpriced because teams knew Barca had 222m to burn and the board were desperate to save face after losing one of MSN.
