Philippe Coutinho

Yes, but this negative spiral showcased his poor mentality and frankly... lack of guts and professionalism. You expect a player like him to show some kind of pride and bounce back, not stink the place up acting like a petulant child.

In his case, a lot is wrong with him, never mind the management from Valverde which most of us know it's 50 shades of shit.

His best game was against Levante when he was playing LW, remember the game when everyone was saying he is our LW of the future with Dembele as RW?
And he played half of the games at the right side, and was still better than last season.
I mean we can argue all what we want whether he is better as AM/LM/LW, but sure thing he is more natural on those positions that right side, where he showed more than last season.

Yeah, true.

I think it speaks volumes when ter Stegen and Dembele(even if I'm off the fan train on him) didn't break down under pressure and after doing badly, but Coutinho just disappeared.

He's still incredibly skillful and very talented, but football isn't just about that.

The funny part is Coutinho didn't have to deal with the Catalan Media being all over his ass when things were at his low point like Dembele did.

Dembele had targets all over his back, while Coutinho was performing badly didn't even had to deal with that stuff.

Coutinho was offered to Bayern by his agent, Bayern didn't really inquire on him. I don't think Bayern will pay the kind of money we want for him at all so this is basically as good as BS.

Dembele is another story, he has other issues, he doesn't give a fuck about anything. That's sometimes good a and sometimes bad. :)

Bayern would not buy him, they are waiting for Sané's recovery. They didn't buy James and he was pretty good for them, Coutinho won't be better. Pointless loan unless they pay 20 million and take his wages for a 1 year loan or something.

If true this means no Neymar then. Not happy about a free loan but I guess we will save 11m of Coutinho's salary.
