Ahhh, Man Utd as usual, always eager to put on a show in the pre-season. Its not the first time in recent years they've beaten us in the pre-season. Over the same span of time we've put them to the sword in separate CL finals. Good to see that they've improved nevertheless.

So we lost last nite to basically man uniteds first team who are at a more advanced stage of pre season than us an we had basically half our first team playing. Thought roberto rafinha and pedro all played well. Suarez unlucky hitting the post twice also great seeing vermalen get some more minutes under his belt and staying injury free so far. How come vidal an turan cant play btw

Yea but surely they could still play friendly matches even as trialists. Sure dont forget suarez got to play friendlies last season when he was banned

Suarez was a registered player. Arda and Vidal aren't. They can't play until they are.

No, they can't, because they aren't registered.

Bad news for Aleix Vidal and Arda Turan. FIFA has reminded Barça that the 2 signings of this summer may not play any preseason friendly match this summer. Neither Gamper nor the tour of the United States and Florence (Italy).
The reason is that the 2 players aren't enrolled in any team because FIFA sanction denies it. Because they aren't registered, they can't appear in any referees act and they will see all matches from the stands.

The only solution Aleix Vidal and Arda Turan can play a friendly match should be a training match organized by Barça without referee's act. Last year, Barça did a match at the Ciutat Esportiva against a selection of Thailand Under-19 to be able to play Vermaelen and Luis Suárez.

The difference with Suárez
Suárez, that could play Gamper last year with Barça because sanctions affected only to him and not the club. The footballer was already registered as a Barça player but he had to overcome a sanction of 4 months for the bite to Chiellini in the World Cup.
Thus, the debut of Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal in a game will be postponed until 3rd January 2016, when they will be registered and will enter in the first list of Luis Enrique for the match against Espanyol scheduled for that day.
