I'd also pick Soldado. Negredo isn't that good, I don't understand why they spent so much money on him.

Some massive underrating of Negredo going on here, acting like he's Andy Carroll or something....

You don't score 31 goals in 40 starts for Sevilla being 'average' when Sevilla were as a team average last season. Scored more than Soldado in a weaker team.

He's scored 102 La Liga goals(24 assists) for Sevilla/Almeria in 6 seasons in 184 starts, that's an excellent return. He will score many goals for City this season if he starts regularly.

THIS. its funny how underrated he is on football forums, still he has scored goals on a consistent basis for years. Hes strong has pace, technique, great with both feets and head.

That's a rather brave prediction :D
Somehow I have the very unpleasant feeling Chelsea are going to become champions.

Chelsea, City, United, Arsenal, Spurs, Pool - top 6. Hope Swansea are in top10 at least. Stoke (if they stick with Hughes) are out, Hull too, Palace are up for the relegation battle alongside Fulham, Newcastle and maybe Villa.

I seriously doubt that Palace will be in a better position than Hull City come the end of the season.

Manchester United losing again in a friendly, this time against AIK.

I know there only pre season friendlies & not really a huge deal, but i'd be slightly worried if i was a United fan to be honest.

Losing to AIK is pretty normal. Draw is a good result for United, I'm sure they'll have gained some confidence.

arsenal will finish fourth, and fans will chant "in wenger we trust"

because afterall, finishing fourth is better than a trophy.... LOL

I don't see United finishing higher than third. Everyone is so used to trusting Ferguson's judgement that perhaps haven't considered that his expertise might not extend to choosing new managers. I'm really not sure that Moyes is ready for this.

It will indeed be interesting.

Imo, United have a worse squad that Chelsea, City, Tottenham and Arsenal. Still, it would be something new to see them 3rd or 4th. I wouldn't expect it under Ferguson, but under Moyes it's a real possibility.

United look pretty meh against AIK, very little creativity despite having quite a few starters on the pitch. RVP was pretty poor, the midfield hardly looked better.... The goal was nice though.

I'm pretty sure they drew, btw.
