No its not the style as their are several different styles our teams play (Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham - Direct, High pressing City, United, Arsenal- Possesion orientated game) it is the quality of the players is not up to what they were a few years ago. Hopefully with the money we can bring in better players which suit the types of football the respective teams want to play.

There has been so much money in the EPL for so long now that if it was down to that, the change would have happened long ago and they should be the best league in the world.

No there hasnt tho really has there? Last january was the first time united spent over 30 million, Liverpool can't spend that kind of money unless they recieve it from a torres or suarez, tottenham are skint, Arsenal only spent over 30 million on ozil for the first time last summer. Only chelsea and city have had money to pay the fees and wages.

Compare that to Barca and Real spunking 50+ million on a player for years and years and paying top top wages.

Yeah its not an excuse as i said the standard of the players simply isnt good enough.... I cited the extra money as a reason why it may and hopefully will improve soon. No excuses here.

Rodgers is a very good manager. After losing Suarez and in principle also Sturridge for most of the season, their 2 main sources for goals, he's still found a way to remain 2 points within 3th place (if this result holds). Unlike van Gaal he's actually pulling the 3 man defense formation off properly as well.
