Youre right about cards regardless almost everyone looks at him as top 5 defender of all time. Not just madridistas. Its because of the number of trophies won.

Could probably find better defenders, but obviously depends on scenario whether you'd rather have them in team over him
I'd argue he's more valuable than several better defenders and would pick him in some 11s

TAA is an even worse defender than I thought he was.

He has high offensive ceiling but IMO Marcelo is the best ATG he can get close to. Alves is too complete for him to match. Defensive liability but he can be worth it depending on his offensive productivity.

Still top 3 fullbacks in the world easily.
