Recruitment at united is terrible. Partly falls on the manager. No idea if it's 5% or 100% his fault, but poor recruitment has been a theme of their club for a decade. City on the other hand have a whole team of experts hand picking players for pep.

huh? We got group staged twice in the ucl and knocked out of europa league, that's what the injuries excuse is about. So no, he didn't get results despite the injuries.

And won a championship title. Last time United did that Obama was in his 1st term.

Much easier to draw players to Barca than Man Utd also.

Man Utd aint signing Christensen and Gundo for free and aint no mistaking.

The excuse for Xavi was these injuries just happened to fall at the time of important ucl matches. We had enough good quality defenders fit throughout the season to win the league. This is about united's 4th game playing with a CB partnership that top championship clubs wouldn't want

City playing well and controlling it fairly easily.

City seem to do this every season and then kick on in new year.

They def miss KDB through.. obviously enough.

There is no comparison between Barca's performance under Xavi and United's. Night and day. Even if you exclude City, nothing is stopping United from beating the smaller teams and pushing for the title.

Tottenham is doing it ffs after losing Kane. Not to mention Arsenal.

United are just underachieving season after season despite being one of the biggest spenders in Europe.

Barca had problems too obviously, but did far more than United in just 1 full season under Xavi. United didn't even challenge properly for a full decade.

There is next to no chance Utd pushing for title now.

A year and a half ago they had worst Premiership season in their history. Their ';best' player was Ronaldo and team was a shambles.

It is almost impossible to compare the job at Barca and United.

There is fuck all chance Xavi has Utd challenging for league either.

Yeah, and Xavi got the team from 9th place and made them champions with a superb dominating league campaign 1 year later.

Apples vs oranges. Xavi's Barca are a team developing at a much faster rate than United.
