Atletico have done fuck all in Europe for years but Griezmann and Morata are in good form so could change.

Little seems to have changed for them other than that really. Much the same standard.

In 2021 they made QF. Played a nice tie vs City and conceded just 1 goal over 180 mins no?

This is the kind of game we needed yesterday.

A "lucky" goal (gundogan & Holland OK) and someone to take one of our chances to get us 2-0 up, kill their hopes of a come back

Ball just wouldn't fall for us.

Yet the game doesnt stop when they dont go in and still all to play for. The top teams miss a ton of chances and still see games out. That is part of it.

When teams missed a ton of chances last season v Barca was made out to be 1-0 wins by design.

Cant then claim Barca played better and 'just wouldnt go in' when miss chances as if some sort of bad luck.

Araujo getting the City treatment would have been enough yesterday.

3-0.

They beat City under ETH mate
1-4 loss
0-2 loss
3-6 loss
2-1 win
0-3 (and counting) loss

Ole kept it much closer and got win(s) instead of getting blown out 70% of the time. ETH has a lot to prove given he's actually had 300-400 million to spend in the last 2 transfer windows unlike us who had 1 big splash last summer and then 0 this summer.
