I have been proved right on him I feel. He's useless without great service. He's a great goalscorer but awful footballer.

As some guys said, Pep has been great at City for so long, he was due a blip, you cannot win or dominate indefinitely. But there's something seriously not right there.

I don't even like the guy, think he has sold his soul in many ways. He seems like a proper weirdo. But he is a tremendous coach. He and their team are struggling now but he's won four leagues in a row.

Pep is trying to make Haaland play short pass mickey mouse football, he thrives on counters. He had no space this game. Is he supposed to turn into Messi?

I agree with your point, but I also think that is why City shouldn't have signed him. They were always going to with his dad's link, but he suits a full on counter-attack team more. Ironically I think he'd score a fair amount for United with his pace on the break when they play teams that push up more.

I don't think he is either. But I don't think Ferguson necessarily is either - much worse tactically than Pep, succeeded in a weaker era of the PL, and never left the UK. 2 CLs in almost three decades and outtacticed many times there.

He's more of an old-school British coach. And he had the tools to dominate too, like Pep has had. People act like Ferguson didn't spend money ffs.

United are a more popular club than City and Ferguson is more liked in general.

Agreed. But there are managers who can make wonders with the squad they have at hand, without splashing milions on elite players. They make the most out of players they have and take those that have talent to a whole different level.

Guardiola can't do the same. He needs special and smart players that understand his tactics well.

He is not a bad coach, like somebody above mentioned. If you are able to hand him a few quality smart players, he will give you historical results. But there are managers who can do it without it too.

Every few years you have a Leicester City or whomever, that over performs the level of the players they have, but those are the exception to the rule, which is why it's so exciting when it happens.

Beyond that, you need top level players to win consistently.

Anyone can win a game here and there by having players over perform there talent level, but even to win 1 league titles requires top players/talent.

It clearly goes way beyond Rodri. He's brilliant and extremely influential but the absence of no player in the world causes a collapse like this.

Half those brilliant players could barely run or control the ball.
