Nah temp you looking at it wrong, as is too often the case.

ETH got all the players he wanted for his system and failed.

When pep gets all the players he wants for his system, he dominates.

Each coach as different kinda players they like.

You can't swap klopp and pep and expect the teams to perform the same way.

If ETH was at city, with pep players he would look like the bang average manage he is.
I'm just using ETH as a reference point because he was the last Utd manager.

United's recruitment team is a laughing stock and would screw any manager with their decisions.

City are one of the best run clubs at every level.

Pep has an amazing recruitment team at City.

It’s also quite the coincidence that the season in which Manchester City face 100 + financial irregularity charges, Pep is also orchestrating his worst managerial performance of his career. We are talking about the best manager in football history here.

Needless to say, performing poorly highlights that Manchester City is fallible despite its financial advantage and that its dominance over the last few years was a result of more than mere financial might (despite this being the intention of the charges).

Not too far fetched to assume that this grand dip in form may be deliberate.

United are still woeful - that game was shocking and both teams were pish. If United fans think that shows progress then they're in for a shock (and I know they do, as so many of them are deluded).

That was the type of spawny comeback United are famous for.

As for them crying for a penalty for that Hojlund incident - absolutely desperate.
Thoughts on Haaland recently?

I didn't even say Pep is not a good coach, but he clearly is failing to use a lethal weapon like Haaland. This city team is way too slow, no danger, predictable.

Nunes should be nowhere near defense, Ederson nowhere near goal.
Everyone will tell you that, and he seems to be stuck with old and average players and a terrible bench, yes.

But for me that's not an excuse, should have made a cut considering how involved he is in signings. City isn't a poor club.

I imagine leaks from the verdict may be causing the drop in performancers.

Hard to be motivated if team is set to be relegated and nothing matters from this season.

Their is 0 coach that wins at the elite level consistently without top class players/talent.
Agreed. But there are managers who can make wonders with the squad they have at hand, without splashing milions on elite players. They make the most out of players they have and take those that have talent to a whole different level.

Guardiola can't do the same. He needs special and smart players that understand his tactics well.

He is not a bad coach, like somebody above mentioned. If you are able to hand him a few quality smart players, he will give you historical results. But there are managers who can do it without it too.
