There is a trending video of being sport 's reporter Achraf Ben Ayad talking about Valverde which is borderline insanity. He said that he kept it a secret for so long. Right after the Liverpool disgrace at a field, AChraf was about to interview Valverde about the getafe game 3 days later amidst talks about his sacking and potential stepping aside.. The pressure was huge on the players for that shameful defeat. And what was the first thing Ernesto told Achraf? " I am in the mood for so Falafel Achraf" lmao.. And not only that, Achraf said Valverde was so serious about it he kept texting him privately requesting some list of restaurants specialized in Falafel. And ? couple of weeks later Barca lost to Belbao, the pressure mounted up, Ernesto again texted him asking him to invite him for some Falafel lmao.. Achraf said the contrast was huge between how the fans felt at the time and how Valverde was and he told him that.

That's who barcas snakes hire. Spineless managers who already feel that they are accomplished coaching Barcelona, so much so that they give little fucks about passion.

Falafelverde.

Feel like pure shit just want Valverde back. Lopetugei was Valverde's whipping boy

STFU BOY!

EV is the reason why so many seniors are entitled and very comfortable. Post Enrique, we should have gone for a good manager not a coward pussy like EV. Fuck Valverde and fuck Bartomeu.

It is clear that you can't have a mediocre personality as manager of this club. Rijkaard, Pep and Enrique all had personality and/or big CVs as players, even if as managers they were close to 0 in experience.

Valverde failed this season too. That's why he was sacked.

Top of laliga, undefeated in UCL, still in copa.
All without Messi, but failing sure keep up the agenda man.

Hope we can all enjoy the high paced energetic exciting SetienBall under a world class manager.

Only 193 of Bar?a's 722 passes went forward during yesterday's game against Sevilla. The rest of the passes went either backwards or sideways. [md]

You're giving credit to Valverde for still being in the Copa del Rey without having played a game?

You never know... Benitez got RM disqualified from the Copa some credit must be given to EV for keeping players in line and controlling dressing room egos

mate, Benitez got RM disqualified for having an ineligible player in the 1st leg of the Copa. It's not that hard to avoid that mistake

In the first 30 minutes we were ok to be honest, but we really lack pace in the front line and the ability to get in behind and destabilize a decent defence.

Of course that is not Setien's fault, but why so late in making changes? We had Braithwaite at LB for some of the second half and it was embarrassing to watch. No Ansu?!?!

I can't believe we actually have Braithwaite starting for us now.

Our midfield is the worst I've ever seen. Truly shocking for a Barca team. Sterile, meaningless and boring possession.

I was in favour of sacking EV, but I do wonder if it has achieved anything demonstrably useful midseason. He should have gone in the summer of 2019, but we arguably have a downgrade on him now.

We all know that the board is the main culprit of the situation we are in, but Setien has disappointed me and becoming more EV like.

Setien got his subs all wrong in both timing and personnel. Griezmann and Arthur were not gonna do much against a bus.

Fati should have played yesterday and Puig should have come in a lot sooner. We were really lacking someone who can dribble other than Messi.

I will always stand back with sacking EV as we were getting worse every passing day, but Setien is in danger (or already is) of going in the same path favoring 'experience' over the type of profile our game needs.
