Shitverde is the reason why this lot are so entitled. He gave them free reign over the club.
I never saw the players disagreeing with Shitverde over tactics despite getting battered in cl. On the contrary they defended him despite being humiliated in two consecutive cl ko games. Now They draw at Celta and they're calling him out 😂

Pampered veterans thing they are bigger than the club and they are defending them and blaming the managers who try to change these things.
Wheter Setien is the right man or not is not even the point. This is a matter of principle. Players obey the tactical instructions. They have no attribution and no role in establishing the tactics of the team. They are performers. They perform whatever instructions the technical staff provide. They can bring contributions in this field when consulted, but they don't get to walk away or ignore tactical instructions no matter who they are.
Man I would like to have Simeone for just a month to break these veterans. Imagine doing this stuff to Simeone. Imagine walking away when Simeone gives instructions.
We have gotten away with this so long because of how talented these lazy ass pampered veterans are. But even then they were exposed in CL., a competition where there is no place for gutless slow performances. Now they will be exposed in La Liga too. Their time is nearly done. They have maybe one more season if we're lucky, but even then Madrid might be performing better next season.

Watch from 7 min onwards, statistically we’re better under Setien, more points per game. Madrid have improved massively, that’s why they’re top. This isn’t me defending Setien either, I think he’s been poor, but seeing you comment here “bring back EV” after every game is boring as fuck.

Valverde should not return, the timing of his sacking was a mistake but results and performances had diminished with him too. The real problem at Barcelona is the board and player power.

I always said that Valverde is not as good as some think but not as bad as some wanted us to believe. He did a great job with this shitty squad and veterans.
Especially the year where we sold Neymar and got humiliated by RM in the beginning of the season, I thought was going to be bad but won the league comfortable.

This is why we need someone similar to Zidane. All time great that even the most narcissistic players will listen to and admire if just for his accomplishments as a player alone. That is exactly what you need in a team with this many veterans. They will never respect nobodies like Setien and his dog, Sarabia. Wish Puyol was a coach with a couple of years of experience at this point, they would never dare to walk away while he is talking.

Sure, but the blame is not only on Setien. These players are f**** professionals paid millions and the least they can do is listen to whatever the coaches say to them even if in the end they'll do things their way.
No coach deserves such an unprofessional behaviour from his key players.
