Cannot see him coming back next season. Remains to be seen if he'll get a crack at the CL or if he'll be replaced by a caretaker manager.

Eveything about him just screams weakness.

Should have been punted weeks ago to allow someone else to plan something for CL.

Someone else like who? Top managers don't come at a team where the veterans are more powerful than the manager. The whole mentality of the club needs to change and it starts right from the top, from the President.

The only managers you can attract with how things are, are the weak ones. Valverde, Setien types who never had any job in top football before Barca job.

Anyone at all.

Even Pimentia as Setien was done weeks ago and going nowhere.

Doubt it makes any difference other than if players briefly gave what could as he left but needed to make a change. Any change.

Pimienta is the only caretaker option available. No one else would want to coach this side. God forbid how bad next season will look with the same lineup.

The Amigos will never let go of their power unless pushed out in some way.

So, no top manager will come with them around. Forget it.

So, only 2 options. Puppet manager + more motivated, less injury ridden Amigos next season, in which case we'll possibly win the Liga (especially if Madrid struggle). While getting beaten again as per usual in CL, another big defeat being again on the cards.

Or, option 2, Amigos don't have anything in the tank, and are done at this level, in which case, we'll probably have the same type of season if not worse.

MY GOAT

Lionel Messi: "We didn't want to end the season like this but it represents how the season has gone. We were a very erratic, very weak, low-intensity team? We lost a lot of points and today's game is a summary of the season." https://t.co/oYCpHpvzWp

Messi: "We have to be self-critical. Starting with the players but doing a global self-criticism. We are Bar?a and we have to win everything. We can't look at Madrid?"

Messi: "Madrid have done their job, but we have helped them a lot."

Messi: "If we want to win the Champions League, we have to change a lot."

Messi: "If we continue like this, we will lose the game against Napoli."

Messi: "The sensations are that the team tries but cannot, we leave much to be desired in many games."

Messi: "Everything we have experienced since January has been very bad. We have to change a lot of things for real."

Messi: "The fans are running out of patience because we're not giving them anything. It's normal."
