Well, if he helps Atletico finishes 3rd and qualifies for the Champions League, it'll be really hard for Atletico to hold on to him. He's undoubtedly the best striker there currently is, and if he performs like this next season for a CL team, he'll certainly be among the top 5 contenders. It's not as if he'd win the Ballon d'Or while Messi and Cristiano are playing, anyways.
