Well, pretty much anyone would take a shortcut to success. Especially the new generations of footballers who don't really know or care about history or tradition.
And I'd say, while it's not Barcelona, London is far more appealing destination than Manchester.
Uefa financial fair play amounted to nothing in the end. Platini made it to get a popular vote and behind the curtains he always knew City and the rest would exploit the loopholes. Everyone wins, right?
You're right Bojan-in the end its all window dressing which is a pity really. Look at City's sponsorship with essentially the owner's airline Etihad.
