It was "Obvious how good he was" but most Madridistas I spoke to didn't like him because he dribbled like a headless chicken and contributed very little to the team when he played. The way he plays now is on a much higher level than the way he played last season, that much is clear.
Also, way to completely miss the point the guy was trying to make.
Isco was not at his best but it was clear last season and the season before the ability had and it was much higher than what Rafinha has shown.
What Isco did is totally irrelevant anyway. People always use these examples and they mean nothing as there is examples that go both ways. Some young players will have a good season at a smaller club and it will be the start of something while some will have a good season and progress little from there.
