Bit harsh on him there lads, he didn't get the second half to impose himself like the others.
Still a fantastic player though who will grow into that role the more he plays it.

Would really like to see him in midfield...AM or CM seems to be his best position. Although his first touch at times looks a bit heavy to play those effectively...

He'll get midfield time. Iniesta already was down and hobbled in the first game of the season, and chances are he'll eventually miss time with a knock or two.
Would not be surprised to see Rafinha and Rakitic next game after seeing Iniesta in the sideline with an icepack on his knees.

His defensive work is very good too so it will be nice to see him centrally

No way. Lucho wasn't happy with Deulo's Everton loan so I don't see a reason why would he loan Rafa out to Sunderland...
