As soon as the media have wrung all they can out of the hype narrative with a young player in England, they move on to the faux scandals. A bit like when Wilshere was in the vicinity of a scuffle outside a club, or when he was seen smoking a cig. Sterling wants to put his contract negotiations off until the end of the season? DRAMZ! He got seen doing laughing gas, the shit you can buy in balloons at some nights out? DRAMZ! They'll take this as far as they can until they can turn it into a comeback/redemption tale. Expect to see Kane in the news for the wrong reasons next season.

City are in real danger of slipping into insignificance. FFP is having a much bigger effect than anticipated and the new homegrown rules coming in could hurt them even more. They need to revamp that squad, with good homegrown players, without a big net spend. They could easily drop out of the top four in my opinion. And Chelsea don't get anywhere near enough credit for what they've done in the past couple of years:
